“To me, happiness is being a dentist!

The satisfaction of restoring a person’s smile so they can enjoy showing it is priceless. When I was a little girl, I loved to visit my father’s dental office to observe his work and ever since then, I could not picture myself being anything other than a dentist. I always felt a strong desire to be a dentist because of my compassion for others. My desire was embedded to do something for someone else.

In my work still today, I help others who have not been able to smile in a long time and I ease their pain. To allow my patients this happiness drives my work, and this is my passion.

Once in a while, I get a sincere “thank you” or even a hug from a patient that makes my day and reassures me that I really am doing what I love to do. This is why I am here!”

Dr. Joebeth Molero has been practicing her passion for dentistry for over 20 years. As a second-generation dentist following her father Dr. Rundolph Molero, she graduated from Universidad del Zulia School of Dentistry in Maracaibo, Venezuela in 1984. She later obtained a Masters in Public Health Administration. In 2003, she graduated from the School of Dental Medicine at the University of Puerto Rico, obtaining her Dental Medicine Doctor (DMD). A year later she moved to Parkland, Florida, where she became licensed by the Florida Board of Dentistry.

When Dr. Molero founded West Glades Dental, now Smile Institute, in 2005. She established a new state-of-the-art dental practice and made it into the successful family and cosmetics dentistry practice it is today. Prior to graduating with her DMD in Puerto Rico, she completed a fellowship in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the University of Puerto Rico School of Dentistry. In addition, she has also participated in Community Smiles in Miami, FL to provide pro bono dental services for patients in need.

Dr. Molero is always updated on continuing education topics in the latest technology to ensure that her patients receive the most comprehensive and advanced dental care. Dr. Molero is currently a member of the Academy of General Dentistry.

Some of Dr. Molero’s interests include traveling, music, reading and spending time with her family. She is married to the love of her life who has supported her in her dedication and devotion to dentistry. She has three wonderful children who are all professionals and four adorable grandchildren who may grow up to also follow in this passion of dentistry.
